The PG Diploma in Digital Marketing is a part-time program which will run over a period of 4 terms. Each term consists of 15 weeks. You will have further weeks for assessment preparation and submission leading into holiday weeks before the next term starts. (The total duration of the program is 16 months, divided into 4 terms.)

It is an asynchronous program that you can take at your own pace. You can also interact via live webinars, community forums, tutor support, and more.

Academic Credentials

Unlike postgraduate courses in digital marketing which are only certificate programs that provide a few credits for an MBA, the Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing Program from the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI) and BPP University is credit rated at level 7 diploma qualification as per the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (FHEQ). Level 7 qualifications are categorized as postgraduate level and include qualifications such as Master’s degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas, and Postgraduate Certificates.

This means that your degree will be recognized at this level in the UK and as level 7 in Europe (EQF), level 9 in Ireland (NFQ), level 11 in Scotland (SCQF), and beyond. Universities and employers in Europe and beyond will recognize your postgraduate diploma as an academic credential.

Admission Requirements

This course requires a Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2nd class honors) or relevant work experience (minimum of 3 years). To apply for this diploma, you must complete an application form along with a copy of your degree transcript. The transcript is a document from your university which outlines your academic history, course studied, grades achieved and date of graduation. This can be requested from your university, if you do not have a copy. 

All applications and supporting documentation are reviewed by BPP University’s Admissions Board.

Enrolment dates from 2024 are: May 1, July 1, September 1, and November 1.

The course requires the completion of two digital marketing assignments in Digital Marketing Research and Digital Marketing Strategy. As part of your Digital Marketing Research paper, you will undertake real-world research (e.g., in the form of surveys, focus groups, and/or interviews). These assignments are designed to offer you the opportunity to produce meaningful and grounded digital marketing projects focused on your own digital career or business aspirations.

Requirements

  • This course requires a Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2nd class honors) or relevant work experience (minimum of 3 years).
  • If English is not your first language you may be required to show proficiency in English through an IELTS (Academic)/BPP English Language Test level 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in no more than 2 components, or equivalent, is the minimum requirement.
