What was your work background before enrolling in DMI?

I am an independent associate of a leading supplement manufacturer based abroad, operating in 27 markets worldwide. My goal is to build direct sales and distribution networks locally and internationally.

What influenced your decision to study and get certified in digital marketing?

Competition in my industry is tight, that is why I have to have to keep on standing-out among thousands of network builders. I have been doing my business since 2011 and with the fast emergence of technology, a lot of things happened in terms of how we acquire our new customers, keep our existing ones, and develop our networks to grow our sales. I want to take advantage of the internet and digital marketing in optimizing processes in my business and reach wider audiences.

Why did you choose to study with DMI?

After doing my research, I found that DMI offers internationally recognized certification. I also prefer studying in a classroom, rather than on my own. I want to collaborate with like-minded people and be inspired by them.

How has it helped you in your business or work?

Being a computer science graduate, I have no formal education in Marketing. The course gave me more insights on the whole marketing process and customer experience. It gave me concrete action steps and direction on how I can grow my network and sales over the Internet.

Since completing the program, how has your career progressed?

Having my own e-commerce website and actually analyzing data gave me more confidence in making business decisions. It also helped me introduce myself and market my products to a wider audience.

What’s your advice for new students?

Have fun and enjoy. I have met brilliant minds in DMI who are now my friends, even after the course.

How would you describe your learning experience with DMI?

It was really fun. I really enjoyed it! It was very practical and I feel it is a value-for-money, well-deserved investment to myself.
