What was your work background before enrolling in DMI?

My work as a digital content administrator surrounded on the technical side of marketing automation including designing and coding landing pages and emails, setting up campaign workflows, and integrating end-to-end platforms.

What influenced your decision to study and get certified in digital marketing?

I believe the desire to challenge myself and move past the technicalities pushed me to finally enroll at DMI. Plus, I’ve wanted to pursue a digital marketing course that isn’t online-based, so I just had to take the opportunity!

Why did you choose to study with DMI?

All things considered. From the location, industry-leading lecturers with proven digital marketing expertise to the Institute’s prominence on a global scale. Getting certified was a big plus for me as well.

How has it helped you in your business or work?

I’ve become more aware of what goes beyond email and landing page production. The program provided me a better picture on how to approach marketing at a strategic level and how data can help drive better marketing campaigns. Since then, I’ve been able to confidently interact with my stakeholders and make optimizations as needed.

Since completing the program, how has your career progressed?

I’m 6 months into being a senior marketing automation specialist at RingCentral. Prior to that, I was a marketing campaign specialist who helped marketing managers develop lead nurtures through campaigns analysis.

What’s your advice for new students?

Always look out for opportunities that will help you apply and supplement DMI’s courses.

How would you describe your learning experience with DMI?

It was very interactive. Our lecturers demonstrated to us real-world examples of digital marketing applications. I also got to know professionals who have the same interest in acquiring digital marketing knowledge and learn from each one of them who are coming from a diverse set of industries.
