What was your work background before enrolling in DMI?
I have been in the marketing industry since the start of my career. Then we established our own digital agency that helps our clients digitalize their customer experiences.
What influenced your decision to study and get certified in digital marketing?
As a company, our mission is to empower our clients through digital platforms and help them get noticed online. If we want to help our clients get noticed online, I felt the need to skill up and get a formal education on digital marketing. There are a lot of technicalities that I need to learn in order to fulfill our mission.
I also decided to get certified in digital marketing to further increase confidence of our clients in our company.
Why did you choose to study with DMI?
I tried a few online and hybrid institutions offering digital marketing classes, but I realized that a self-paced and online approach is not effective for me. Upon further research, I stumbled upon DMI. Seeing that they offer on-site classes, plus the lecturers who are immersed in this industry, as well as a chance to get a globally-recognized certification, I chose to enroll in this institute.
How has it helped you in your business or work?
I was able to upgrade my skills and knowledge in digital marketing, and because of that, I can confidently discuss and give advice on the best digital approach to our clients.
Since completing the program, how has your career progressed?
There were a lot of digital marketing-related opportunities in the company, and as a result, we were able to grow our digital marketing team, which I am now able to mentor.
What’s your advice for new students?
Listen intently in each session, and ask, ask, ask questions (that are relevant, of course)!
How would you describe your learning experience with DMI?
Very insightful! Plus the fact that I get to directly consult with our teachers even after we finished all the classes.
